PARROT REQUIRED FOR 'THE ONE SHOW'

Gemma Metcalfe Beckers, a researcher at Real Life Media, which is an independent supplier of films to BBC 1's The One Show, is currently producing several items for a series that will look at a variety of pet behaviour problems and the treatments and causes.

Working closely with Neil Forbes from Great Western Referrals they are looking to help owners who have an overly aggressive parrot:

1. Does your parrot favour one person in the family?
2. If it is on your shoulder and another person comes close to you does it show signs of aggression?
3. Does your parrot try to nibble your ears or pluck out your hair?
4. Does your parrot try to get as tall as possible and sit on cupboards etc.?
5. Does your parrot dive-bomb others?
6. Are you within an hour's drive to Swindon?

Gemma would be extremely grateful if people could get in touch with her who are having problems with their parrots and are at the point of seeking professional help. As they would like to film the treatment of the parrot they are interested in seeing cases that are very visual and where the aggression would be evident to someone who has never had a parrot before.

HALF DAY (EVENING) WORKSHOP FOR DOGS

Kerry Jenkinson P1 will be holding an "Introduction to TTouch for You and Your Dog" evening workshop on Friday, 21st August, 2009.

The workshop will be held at Egham Cricket Club, Vicarage Road, Egham, Surrey, TW20 8NP from 6.00pm - 9.00pm at a cost of £25 per person with one dog or £20 without a dog. Course notes and refreshments will be provided.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOR DOGS

Kerry Jenkinson P1 will also be holding a one day "Using TTouch to Overcome the Fear of Fireworks & Thunder. Reducing your dog's anxiety to noise sensitivity" workshop on 27th September, 2009.

The workshop will be held at The Scout Hut, Tealing Drive, Kingston Road, Ruxley, West Ewell, Surrey from 10.00am - 4.00pm at a cost of £50 per person with or without a dog. Course notes and refreshments will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.

HORSE REQUIRED FOR 'THE ONE SHOW'

Do you own a spooky, nervous horse? Would you like us to help you? For free? The One Show (BBC 1) is looking for a spooky horse for us to work with here at Tilley Farm. You would need to be able to transport your horse to Tilley Farm. In return we will work with your horse and keep him/her here on livery for one month from the week beginning July 6th. You will need to be available for two days filming within this month.

If you do have a horse that you feel would benefit from a months free livery at Tilley Farm, please email us a picture and a brief outline of the problem.

Unfortunately black horses do not work well on film so ideally we are looking for a light colour including bay, chestnut, dun coloured etc. Please call on 01761 471182 if you need any further details.
