COMPANION ANIMAL CLINIC FULLY BOOKED
The Companion Animal Practitioner Training
Clinic, to be held at Tilley Farm on March 26th - 31st, 2012, is now fully booked.

BIG BILL NEEDS YOUR HELP
1- 2 year old entire male Chihuahua mix
Weight: 9lbs 10 oz
On Wednesday 25th January, 2012, Big Bill was
run over in Los Angeles. Our wonderful daughter, Emily Head, saw it happen and rushed to
the rescue. With the help of two kind men she managed to catch the terrified and injured
dog and rushed him to a veterinary facility. She was bitten in the process because he was
so scared and in obvious pain. On the way to the vet Emily worked on his ears to stop him
from going into shock and he did not bite her again. He has no ID and we have assumed
financial responsibility for him as we all believe that he deserves a second chance.
Sending him injured to a shelter was not an
option for us and we have paid his bills for x-rays, pain relief and surgery. He sustained
two pelvic fractures in the accident but one will heal without the need for surgical
intervention. He had surgery for the more serious fracture on Thursday and is recovering
well. He is currently boarding at the vets and we are on a fundraising drive to raise more
money for his on-going care.
A possible home has come up in Canada but
obviously he requires some rehabilitation and shots before he will be able to travel.
We are currently looking for an experienced
foster home that can help Bill heal until he is fit for travel and will be organising an
online auction as well so that we can continue to support this little soul.

shortly.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOR DOGS - LONDON
Jacqui Carter P2 will be holding a one day
workshop for dogs on Sunday, 26th February, 2012, in Nunhead, London, SE 15, from 10.00am
to 4.00pm at a cost of £50.00 per person. Light refreshments will be provided but please
bring a packed lunch.

ONE DAY TTEAM WORKSHOP - DUBLIN
Theodora Sonnenberg P1 will be holding a one
day 'Learning Balance with TTEAM Groundwork' workshop on Sunday, 4th March, 2012, at
Callaighstown Riding Center, Dublin, Ireland (Callaighstown is about 3 miles from the town
of Rathcoole and the N7 motorway). This workshop is a hands on introduction to Tellington
TTouch Groundwork for horses and will run from 9.00am - 5.00pm. The cost is 60 Euros for
the day and 15 Euros for the stabling of a horse - horses are optional. Participants are
strictly limited to 10 people and five horses.
